Day 19
Still Banging my Head against the Keyboard
The morning was spent trying to get Eclipse Indigo to pick up the Glass Sneak Peak from the Android SDK. It's probably something simple, but despite installing 4.0.3 aka API 15 and running Indigo aka version 3.7, I've not been able to find a way to open the Compass sample for Glass. :-(Wednesday, February 26, 2014
Day 18
Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall
After downgrading my Python 3.3 to 2.7, I was able to get a sample mirror app to run locally. Hurrah! However, success with the GDK still eludes me. Getting the proper SDK, ADT, and Eclipse versions installed so that the GDK is exposed is not at all obvious.Tuesday, February 25, 2014
Day 17
Banging my Head against the Keyboard
Today was a day entirely at the computer and so, hardly any opportunities for Glass. However, it was a day of diving into the Glass developer documentation and trying my hand at a first app.Monday, February 24, 2014
Day 16
Other 100 Days
Just a quick jot as Day 16 gets off to a start. I should apologize to the others out there with other "100 Days of Glass" concepts. Joshua Merrill wrote an insightful piece back in September about his first 100 days with Google Glass. I must admit, Joshua hits it on the head with all his observations. And Riz Nwosu suggested that if he had Glass, he would create a 100daysofglass blog. I think the idea of passing Glass around to one new person per day would have stumbled on the fact that the Glass interface takes some time to get used to. For the first few days (at least for me), I was quite clumsy.I'll have the usual daily posting later. Cheers!

Day 15
A Relaxing Sunday
This morning was spent mostly at the computer without any Glass activity. Nothing too special when I ducked out for lunch, but I was able to catch this moment as we loaded up with groceries at the Co-op. Beautiful weather--I may not ever drive to the grocery store again.Saturday, February 22, 2014
Day 14
A Saturday with Glass
Today's morning chores were pretty much Glass-free, but as I headed out for lunch with Mom, it was "Glass on." We headed off to Annie's Soup Kitchen, a venerable Albuquerque establishment for brunch. Mom had the chicken and green chile quiche; I had the avocado and bacon omelet smothered in green chile. :-)))
