Day 26

Color Shift

Today I'm "prepping" for a routine medical procedure (don't ask).  That means today and tomorrow's posts will be a bit thin.
I did take a few moments to run some camera tests.  I'll save the close-up series for tomorrow and just delve into the portrait-landscape test right now.

By turning my head sideways, I was able to take a photo in portrait mode.  I'm sure I looked a little crazy, but I was alone in the bedroom.

The really interesting thing is the color shift.  The actual color of the room is much more like the pastel blue in the bottom picture.  I'm not sure where the green wall tones came from in the top image.  Note the white in the objects on the shelf--it's actually reasonably consistent in both.  But the mask on the wall does change colors between the shots.

Hmm?
