Day 32

A Light Day of Glass

A busy morning with a seminar on geolocation with Twitter.  An animated discussion of "Tweeting from Justin Beiber's Heart" and "Where's @Wally?" was quite enlightening.  But, alas, it was in the "no phone" zone of the so-called Limited Area.  Definitely not a place for Glass.

Interestingly, next Monday the pilot program for permitting personally-owned electronic devices in the Limited Areas will begin.  One of the stipulations is that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth must be disabled -- but not cellular radios.  Glass without either is pretty helpless.

Meanwhile, I have been giving quite a few tours of our training and display area.  The latest group was the Next Generation Safeguards Workshop. Quite a few were fascinated by Glass.  Here's the happy snap...

And here's a short video snippet of the group...

The only #throughglass shot today was of Ten-Ten, the second box turtle to break hibernation.  He's the newest and probably youngest of the three.  Trudy surfaced last week.  Now if only Terrance will turn up, we'll have the full menagerie.
